My name is Jen, and when I told my mom that I was going into the event planning business she quietly giggled, then quickly agreed that it was the perfect job for me. When I asked her why she felt so certain, she quickly reminded me about my wedding: the schedules, the deadlines, the itineraries, and mostly the delegated responsibilities that I so grudgingly gave away. This couple was just so cute! They came to me just wanting to have the time of their life, and that they did. It was a lovely fall night for this pacific northwestern couple. Even the rain was quiet and quaint, not dreary and sad. And with the Westin Keirland as their backdrop, SKM Entertainment rocking the tunes, and Imoni Events at the helm, the night was flawlessly. So without all the stress they were able to concentrate on their love for each other and having a ton of fun with their friends. Believe me, it was fun!! They were such a joy to work with!! And thanks to Matt Graves, they have amazing pictures to show for it.
Oh the shoes... And you got to love the pop of red on such an angelic backdrop. Love it!!!
And of course, the comfy shoes for dancing the night away. Still red. This girl is sassy!!!
The fall colors were beautiful in her gerbera daisy and rose arrangements by Foothills Floral Gallery.
Now that hey are dressed and ready, it is time to get married. I love these shots! Whenever you capture emotion, you live the moments all over again.
The best part about raining on your wedding day (besides it being good luck) are the rainbows. Doesn't that just make you smile?

I have never been one for New Years Resolutions. If I do make one, like many others, it is over by the end of January. So instead of making a resolution I cannot keep, I thought I would make some goals for me that I can keep. My goal is to eat right and stay healthy. Not for myself, but for my unborn baby. Yep. You heard right. I am having a baby! Since it is my first, I am way to excited to keep it to myself. Plus, I figured as I grow wider and wider people might start to talk anyway. So if you see me bulging out my clothes, no need to awkwardly wonder. The answer is yes. So here is to my resolution. Taking care of baby... Try not to be amazed by this!
Oh, and just so you don't think my baby is weird looking, that little one is looking at us with its cute little arms right below his head. Adorable!!!

I thought I would bring in the new year by remembering one of my favorite weddings of last year at The Royal Palms. Whitney and John are two of the most beautiful people, inside and out. They were so sweet to all their friends and everyone else. Plus, they were so appreciative of everything we did that we all just fell in love with them! I am always very excited to see the bride for the first time. When it is your wedding day, everyone should be!
Whitney's mom had these robes made for all the girls with their names on them. They were so soft! What a great gift.
We transported the guests from the Hilton to the Royal Palms on a Trolley. This one was named Molly, just like Whitney's sister. Cute!
John got Whitney the most beautiful necklace. She got him a great watch. But my favorite part of the gift exchange are the sweet love notes. Those never get old.
