Happy New Year!!! We hope this new year brings you more happiness than you could imagine, and hopefully that includes gorgeous diamond rings and fun wedding plans!!
I know we are SUPER excited for 2012! 2011 was amazing in so many ways (I almost didn’t want it to end) but now we look forward to more fantastic weddings and we are excited to launch our brand new website. I am seriously in love with the new design and hope you guys like it as much as I do. But since websites take a TON of work, I wanted to give you a little sneak peak into the new logo design and vision. This video was made for us by Serendipity Videography and we are very grateful for all their hard work in gathering interviews and video footage of us gals at some of our most recent weddings. And thank you to our beautiful clients who also offered their time and wedding footage. xoxo to you all!!! So enjoy the video (Cameos of Regan, Gretchen, Megan and Alex) and give us a ring as you ring in the new year. We would love to be a part of your 2012!!!

Oh the amazing Whitney and Matt. I just love them! I seriously meant it when I posted on facebook that I was going to be sad Sunday morning. I was. I will miss that cute little Whitney and her adorable mom, Marianne. They are just the best! Seriously can’t say that enough… So because I love them so much, here is a little look back on their amazing day courtesy of Serendipity Videography.

Scottsdale Arizona was the scene for this fancy affair. Laura and Micheal were are madly in love. Even though they lived in various states for most of their relationship, the two finally put down roots in good ‘ol CA and then headed to AZ (Laura’s home state) for their wedding. It was truly a wonderful night. With a father of the groom speech that will never be forgotten and dancing till everyone dropped, these two started it off right! Thank you to all the amazing people that made their day possible:

From Megan’s Desk…
It’s your big day, you’ve said I do and shared your first kiss as mister and missus, now for the after party! Dragging your beautiful floor length gown through the reception hall you begin to feel concerned that the stunning fashionable work of art that carried you into the newest chapter of your life will be damaged as you party the night away. You earnestly try to protect it from wandering feet, spilling drinks, and the dust and dirt the hemline is bound to attract. Not to mention the heavy factor. What if there were a better way? For many brides there is.
A big trend continuing into this wedding season is the reception dress. The reception dress is a dress that is often cocktail or tea length that provides more freedom than does the traditional wedding gown. It is often more free flowing, fun, and much less ornate than the gown used in the ceremony. Don’t get me wrong, the wedding dress is key in making your day memorable. But turning to a reception dress for the evening will make your night comfortable and even more stylish! To find out more about reception dresses click here.

As wedding planners we get a lot of questions. Where do I find this? Where do I find that? So we are starting a new blogging segment called “Fab Finds”. Today’s Fab Find comes from the awesome gals of The Wedding Chicks. They are miniature canvas bags that are adorned by the most adorable, customizable graphics. Two huge trends in design and weddings right now are soft, natural color palettes and bold graphics. These little bags hit both of those items in such a stylish way that I couldn’t help but share them.
Amy and Jacey subtitled their magnificent blog with the tag line “All Things Pretty” and it is so true!! So enjoy these adorable favor bags and the many pretty things on the wedding chicks blog.

They are so in love with each other, get along great with their families, excepting of others, genuinely interested in life, and happy, truly happy. So it was, without a doubt, a pleasure to work with them throughout their entire wedding planning season. Here are some highlights of their day.

And this takes the cake for the sweetest moment ALL DAY!!!

So cute, right?

After the ceremony they were just so happy! And Erica was able to take a load off since her gown was altered to make into a short cocktail dress. Stunning!

I loved all the soft girl details against the masculine rough walls. It was beautiful!
