Serendipity Videography has just launched a fun new trend in video, the electronic Save the Date. Basically a videographer follows you around for your engagement shoot and comes up with a fun video for you to send to your wedding guests in DVD form. It is a new, fresh idea, so I love it. Plus, the ideas Kimberly Jarman Photography came up with for the engagement shoot just worked sooooooooooooo well for this video! We can’t wait to work with everyone this coming March, Sam, Leor, Kim and Serendipity!! Check them out below.

I have been in love with Mod Cloth for the longest time. I just love their funky, vintage inspired style. So when I went to buy a new dress this summer I stopped off at their site and was overwhelmed. Sooooooooooooooooo many choices. I was in heaven, then hell… I cannot buy them all, so which one do I choose. Anyway, personal problems aside, you should check them out. These dresses can even be used for a cool bridesmaid dress. So much better than the standard one color silk options. But here are some of my favs:
Can you see where I might have an issue here?? Happy shopping!

From Megan’s Desk…
Your wedding is a direct reflection of your personality, from the flowers to the cake topper everything should scream your name. Why should your garter be any different? The possibilities are endless. Garters can be customized to match your wedding colors, have custom embroidering, reflect your fiance’s favorite hobby, or maybe a hobby that you and your future hubby share together. I found these garters on a site called garterglitz.com. These are beautifully embellished with lace, fringe, bead work, and even the ever popular rhinestone accents. Check it out.
For the classic bride.
All girls love to be pretty in pink.
And of course the adorable bow.

Here are some fun pics from photo booth pictures from 2 of our weddings this year. I love my girls…
Both of these weddings were at the Four Seasons Scottsdale. Love that location!!! Can’t say enough about those peeps up there. Regan, Aubrey and I (above) got to help Ellen with her amazing day. I am off to Chicago this July to help Ellen’s little sis Anna get married. Seriously can’t wait! Then Gretchen and I got to help Christy with her magical dream come true beginning of this month. In all fairness to Gretchen (who is just as fun as the girls above) we had to take sample pictures for the black, killer frames each guest got to put there little square pic in. So we had to look normal…
Ellen and Christy, great favor choice. I know it has been done a million and a half times, but it is SOOO much fun for your guests. Keep a look out for their weddings to hit the blog. Both were A-mazing!!

This is a great deal. Anyone who knows me knows I love Tiny Prints and their sister company Wedding Paper Divas. Today only all their wedding party cards are 99 cents. And they are really cute. So if you haven’t asked those special people in your life to be a part of your special day. Wait! …until you get these in the mail that is.

Damion Hamilton and I corresponded as a result of The Special Event in January. He took some pretty rad pictures of the dress gallery we put together (see below). They are just too good not to share. Plus, some show me in action which is always kind of fun to see. What you look like when you don;t think anyone else is looking… After “meeting” him through this event, I have become friends with him on facebook and follow his blog. This guy is very cool. He loves life, his kids, his wife. And he is a super talented photographer! So if you are going to good ‘ol CA for your wedding, call this guy! I mean it! Don’t even hesitate. You will Love, Love, Love your photos and his team! Thank you Damion for allowing such beautiful images to hit the world. You rocked it!

I really enjoyed working with Megan and David. First of all, their friends were all a blast to be around. And then they couldn’t say enough about the bride and groom. They just adored Megan especially and I could see why. She is sweet, kind, considerate, and FUN! Great combo. They got married at St. Francis Xavier and then had a kickin’ reception at McCormick Ranch Golf Club, who recently built in glass windows that are amazing! Thank you to Muse Photography for this sneak peak.

As you know, I am a huge fan of the internet. HUGE! I love being able to sit in my jam jams and look for chic stuff for my clients. Recently I was reminded that paper products are one of the areas that really catch people’s budget off guard. There are so many things to order besides invitations that you just don’t think about how much money you can spend on this one area. As a result, Save the Dates are generally one of the items that gets cut. But, it doesn’t have to be this way. There are quite a few options to provide your guests, especially out of town guests, a heads up on when you have scheduled your wedding. Wedding Paper Divas is one of those options.
And as you can see from the samples below, I am a big fan of sending pictures in the save the date. For two reasons mostly. First of all, you will be inviting lots of different people to your wedding. They might be the neighbor friend who watched you grow up but hasn’t seen you since you left for college. They might be friends or family on your fiance’s side who have never even met you. Whoever they are, it is nice for them to get a mental image of what the bride and groom look like, today. The second reason is it gives you another opportunity to use your engagement photos. And it is just fun! I guess that is three. Whatever… I am just a fan. But the site has plenty of non-picture options as well that are super adorable. So either way, check them out!
