Jackie and David were married in 2007 and thankfully we have still managed to keep in touch. Jackie is such a cool gal. Her wedding was super fun, she is a rock star nurse, and her friends just adore her. I adore her! This weekend Jackie sent me an email that she sent one of her friends who was looking for a coordinator. I helped her friend Grace a couple Januarys ago and Grace and I still keep in touch too. Love this group of girls! Anyway, I was just thankful that I have had the opportunity to work with people like this. We all know girlfriends don’t lie. So for her to send this to her friend was just awesome. I was even more grateful that they recognized my hard work and were able to experience their wedding like no one else. That is my goal! Jen (Jennifer) Thye and let me tell you she is amazing! Hiring her for the day of our wedding was easily the best wedding planning decision I made! 100% worth the money, if not more! I think she was about $1500 for the day, but she starts meeting w/you about a month or more in advance to get things coordinated for the day of. I believe it really made our wedding day the memorable, peaceful experience it was. I see it as the best insurance policy you can get to your wedding. You invest all this time and money into this one wedding day, and having Jen for the day insures that everything will run smoothly just as you planned and that you can relax, have fun, and just enjoy the day…being PRESENT in the moments. It made me completely at ease the day of the wedding…so many people kept telling me I was the most relaxed bride they had ever seen…and I know that wouldn’t have been the case near as much if I didn’t have Jen the day of taking care of everything and worrying about all the things I would have been otherwise. Plus, she is the sweetest, nicest person…very organized, professional, fun, etc. She is there to serve your needs for your wedding day…help the dream be executed and come to life. She is running around the whole night coordinating things among the multiple vendors making sure everything is on time (for the timeline) and everyone is taken care of. She keeps things moving as according to what you guys have planned for the day.
Grace also used her for her wedding after she loved what she did for our wedding…and she was soo happy that she did! I am hoping she doesn’t cost much more than what she did before, it seems her business keeps growing. Her $1500 for the day is pretty standard…maybe you will only pay $1000 for another day of coordinator, but I am so biased because Jen was so awesome to me and Grace. She is such a great person too…for instance this summer she fully coordinated a food drive to help the AZ Hunger Campaign bc needy people were starving and there was no food in the AZ food banks anymore. She raised over 1,000 lbs of food (we helped along w/so many others) for this great cause that many churches were involved in.
